HARRISBURG, August 24, 2005 - Auditor General Jack Wagner said today that he was dismayed by the Base Realignment and Closure Commission's decision to close the Charles E. Kelly Support Facility, but that he would continue to press for the construction of a new commissary to serve Western Pennsylvania's 170,000 active and retired military personnel and their families.

HARRISBURG, August 9, 2005 - Auditor General Jack Wagner urged the Pentagon's Base Realignment and Closure 2005 (BRAC) Commission to continue plans for construction of a new commissary at the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base in Willow Grove. Wagner in previous correspondence (June 30, 2005) also urged the BRAC Commission to keep the Willow Grove base open.
